Learn about Earth's nearest planetary neighbors during a show at Lycoming College

Lycoming College will offer two shows in the Detwiler Planetarium on April 7 at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. as part of Williamsport First Friday. The events are open to the public. Free tickets are available that evening starting at 5 p.m. outside the planetarium. Seating is first come, first seated.

This month’s show will explore Mars and Venus, humanity’s nearest planetary neighbors. Learn what we have in common with these Earth-like planets and what makes these worlds so different. Special attention will be paid to past and upcoming exploration of these planets.

The planetarium is located in the Lynn Science Center on the corner of Washington Blvd. and Mulberry St.
