Lycoming College signs agreement with Mexican university for exchange program

Students from Lycoming College now have the ability to study at the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in Puebla, Mexico as part of an exchange agreement between the two schools. Students from UPAEP will also have the opportunity to study at Lycoming College.

“The agreement is part of our mission to expand the opportunities for Lycoming students to study abroad,” said Lycoming College President Kent C. Trachte. “Enhanced academic experiences, like studying abroad, give Lycoming students an edge when applying for jobs after graduation. In addition, having Mexican students at Lycoming helps build an understanding of foreign cultures and customs and internationalizes the campus.”

Students from either school can choose to spend one or two semesters at the exchange partner. Lycoming students will be able to take courses at UPAEP in English or Spanish. For additional information on this partner program, click here.
