Lycoming College students inducted into Kappa Pi International Fine Arts Society

Lycoming College recently inducted twelve students into the Kappa Pi International Fine Arts Society during a ceremony and dinner on April 23.

Membership in the Lycoming College Eta Gamma chapter of Kappa Pi is open to studio art and art history majors and minors who maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or above, a GPA in art of 3.5 or above, and present a portfolio (studio art) or research paper (art history) for evaluation by the current Kappa Pi officers.

The student inductees included: Emily Rupe, a junior with a major in photography from Wrightsville, Pa.; Tierney Riggs, a senior with a major in art painting from Canton, Pa.; Carissa Guthrie, a sophomore with majors in art and psychology from Jersey Shore, Pa.; Sarah Logue, a senior with a major in psychology from Reading, Pa.; Rachel Salmon, a junior with a major in archaeology from Lock Haven, Pa.; Courtney Hayden, a junior with a major in photography from Wellsboro, Pa.; Jordyn Hotchkiss, a junior with a major in English literature from Weare, N.H.; Elizabeth Hughes, a junior with a major in art painting from Methuen, Mass.; Kyle Petchock, a senior with a major in Belle Mead, N.J.; Cathrin Manning, a junior with a major in photography from York, Pa.; Sophie Herzing, a sophomore with majors in art and creative writing from Saint Marys, Pa.; and Cody Williams, a sophomore with a major in photography from Dunkirk, Md.
