Lycoming College junior Dina Borishkevich, a resident of Stevens, Pa., and graduate of Ephrata Senior High School, is one of the 58 recipients awarded the 2008-09 German Academic Exchange Program undergraduate scholarship. A total of 236 applicants from across the United States and Canada applied for the prestigious honor awarded to students who plan to study in Germany during their third or fourth academic year. Borishkevich is pursuing a degree in German and international business and is the president of the German Club.

German Academic Exchange Service is a publicly-funded independent organization of higher education institutions in Germany. Its 14 international offices provide information as well as financial support to more than 50,000 highly-qualified students and faculty per year for international research and study.
