Planned giving is the process by which the philanthropic desire of a donor is guided and shaped by financial and estate planning considerations. Careful planning may enable one person of modest means to make a gift in exchange for a life income; it may permit another to make a significant gift that is paid in part from tax savings.
Generations of alumni and friends have made Lycoming College a philanthropic priority in their lives. They have found ways to do the best they can for the College, both in terms of generous gifts during their lifetimes as well as deferred gifts that come to Lycoming after their passing.
