Applications are being accepted NOW for Summer 2010.
The Office of the Assistant Dean for Freshman will be interviewing student candidates for Summer 2010 Orientation Staff (SOS) in early November. Being an SOS is an experience you will never forget, and our SOS are a very important part of Summer Orientation for new students.
Here's what past SOS have had to say about the job:

- "Every summer I have had an excellent experience with the staff and incoming freshmen. Many of my SOS groups have become friends of mine too, and I love making these early connections."

To apply:
- Download the application and reference form. Return the completed application, either by campus mail to Box 153, or in person to Room 209, Long Hall.
- Print 3 copies of the reference form, and share them with two faculty members and one administrative staff member*.
Applications and reference forms are also available in Room 209 of Long Hall.
Deadlines:
- Applications must be returned to the Office of the Assistant Dean for Freshmen by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009.
- References* are due by Friday, November 6, 2009.
*Note to current freshman applicants: Up to two references may be from high school teachers or previous employers.
