Yvonne Mitchell Sarch is a member of the piano faculty at Lycoming College and organist at St. Boniface Church in Williamsport. She has performed in recital as pianist for numerous instrumental and vocal artists, in chamber music, and as accompanist for area auditions and competitions, including pianist for the guest Master Class of internationally renowned flutist Eugenia Zukerman. She performs frequently in recital with her husband, violinist Kenneth Sarch. Her musical collaborations have included performances at Carnegie (Weill) Recital Hall in New York and the Basilica of the National Shrine in Washington, DC. Yvonne is accompanist for the singing group Gesangverein Harmonia and teaches on the faculty of the summer STRING FLING music camp at Mansfield University. She has also performed as pianist with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra and appeared numerous times as pianist for the Lycoming College Symphony Sunday Series.
She received her B.A. degree from Lycoming College where she continued her studies in piano with Dr. Gary Boerckel. She performed in Master Classes for pianists Leon Bates and Leonid Kuzmin. She was appointed to the piano faculty of Lycoming College in 1991.
