Student Spotlight: Cole Younger

1. What’s your year, major and hometown?
I’m a junior with a Major in Archaeology and History with a minor in Art History and maybe Criminal Justice. I will hopefully graduate in 2008 - I’m not sure with such broad areas of interest, but we will see. I’m from Montgomery, PA.

2. To what campus organizations or clubs are you a member?
I’m a Tenor in the Lycoming College Choir and also a member of the Japanese Culture Club, as well as CAS, the Creative Arts Society.

3. What was the last book you read?
The Highwayman by R. A. Salvatore

4. What do you like to do for fun?
For fun I like to read, write, draw, listen to music, rock climb, play soccer and hang out with my friends.

5. What have you learned while working at the library?
Working at the library, I have learned how the small things that the patrons don’t see add up and are just as important as the public relations. My job consists of cataloging, archiving, and taking care of processing and display work so the books are readily available and easily found. I have also learned that punctuality and detail are important if you want to succeed at anything and I have transferred the skills I picked up while working at the library into my normal life.
