About SciFinder Scholar: SciFinder Scholar is the online version of Chemical Abstracts, CAS Registry and CASREACT and also includes MEDLINE. The database contains over 16 million citations on chemical and biomedical subjects, including biochemisty, organic/inorganic chemistry, and applied chemistry, as well as environmental science, food science and toxicology. The CAS Registry file contains the structure and dictionary information for over 25 million substances.

Online Access: World Wide Web, but special client software must be installed on your computer. To access SciFinder Scholar in a library or Heim computer lab, go to "Start,""Programs," and choose SciFinder Scholar.

To install SciFinder on your own computer: Go to the SciFinder Moodle site to download the necessary software. Contact Sue Nelson at nelson@lycoming.edu or x4352 if you experience any difficulties.
