If you have not yet created an account in SciFinder, please take the following steps.

  1. From an on-campus computer, go to the SciFinder account setup page (will open in a new window).
  2. Fill out the form as requested. You must use a email address.
  3. Click Register. A message indicates that you will receive an email message from CAS at the address you provided on the form. When it arrives, open and read it. It specifies the terms and conditions to which you agree by completing the registration.
  4. If you accept the Terms and Conditions for using SciFinder, click the link within the email message to complete the registration process. You will receive a confirmation message and be able to begin using SciFinder by going to the login page. Remember that we have only one shared user, so if you are unable to begin working, it may be that the seat is currently in use.
