Manage Your Password

For security reasons, passwords expire after 365 days. Reminders are emailed from the Lycoming College Help Desk. Please note that we will never ask you to respond to give us your password. In general, you should not share your password with anyone.

You can use the online password management tool to change your password or to reset it if it has expired. Access it online or install the app on your mobile device:

Your password must meet these requirements:

  • At least 12 characters in length. Password phrases are strongly encouraged.
  • Must not be a reuse of one of your last 3 passwords.
  • Must never be stored in clear text (e.g. Notepad, Excel, or Word files); hard coded; or written down on paper. ITS suggests the use of the LastPass password manager to generate, store, and organize a user's credentials (www.lastpass.com).

Account lockout occurs after 10 unsuccessful login attempts. Self-Service recovery

All Lycoming accounts now require Multi-factor authentication (MFA) through the Microsoft Authenticator app. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact it.servicecenter@lycoming.edu or 570-321-4150.

If you have tried the password management tool, but still need help, contact the Help Desk for further assistance. Students who need a password reset by the Help Desk must provide identification before a password will be reset.
