IMS 349 - EUROPEAN BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Join Dr. Mehrdad Madresehee and Dr. Alka Gandhi during May term 2007 for an extensive European business experience based in London. Students will study how and why businesses go global with special emphasis on financial, marketing and management issues. In addition, the course will explore how local business culture affects the management of a company. The activities include site visits to businesses, tours of financial institutions, lectures, and cultural activities. The class will be based in London with side trips to Oxford in the UK and Paris. The course will also feature also an extended trip to another country such as Poland, Russia, Hungary, or Czech Republic.

The 2007 May term trip will be an extensive European business experience. You will study how and why businesses go global with special emphasis on financial, marketing and management issues.
While staying in the heart of London you will visit businesses, tour financial institutions, hear guest speakers and also partake in the cultural life of the financial capital of the world.
Travel to Paris on the Eurostar to discover the culture, food and history of one the of world's most beautiful cities.
For more adventure, you will travel to Prague where you will explore the unique traditions and history of this capital city of the Czech Republic.
The trip price (to be determined) will include:
