Dr. Weaver came to Lycoming College in 1974 from the University of Central Florida where he taught business law. Prior to that he worked at his own business and earned a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A from the University of Central Florida. Since coming to Lycoming, he has served fifteen years as Chair of the Department of Business Administration and has chaired almost every major committee in the college. He served as the Director of the Institute for Management Studies from 1999-2005. Dr. Weaver teaches classes in his areas of interest which are finance, investments, and financial statements analysis.

         Insider info: Although he is grandfather to three children, Bruce is particularly fond of flying and has his own hang glider. He and his wife, Deb, also enjoy taking long trips on their sailboat when they aren't in the kitchen testing new recipes for their catering business.
