Steve Johnson is President of Susquehanna Health System. The Susquehanna Health System is an Alliance between the Providence Health System and the North Central Pennsylvania Health System. Mr. Johnson was the lead corporate officer responsible for gaining the new System's operational clearance from the U.S. Department of Justice, and then implementing the national award winning management and service reengineering plan at the hospital level. He spent seventeen years in the United States Army National Guard, finishing his career by designing and implementing the operational conversion of an Infantry Battalion to an Armored Task Force (the largest of it's type in National Guard history.) He is a 1976 graduate of Lycoming College where he majored in criminal justice. Mr. Johnson has a masters degree in Healthcare Administration, is a graduate of the Command and General College, is a licensed nursing home administrator and sits on a variety of public and private service boards.
