Assistant Professor of Accounting

Position Summary:

Lycoming College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin fall 2018. The successful candidate who fills this position will teach undergraduate courses in managerial and governmental accounting, and should have expertise in one or more additional areas, preferably accounting information systems and/or auditing. Teaching load is three courses per semester. A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment is essential.  

Candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in accounting and hold either a CPA or CMA with a minimum of three years of accounting experience.  Applicants with college teaching experience is preferred.  The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, advising and service to the campus community to receive tenure.
