Todd Preston is a medievalist with a specialty in Anglo-Saxon literature (c. 700-1100 AD) and the Old English language. He has presented at numerous conferences both in the US and overseas, and has had articles published in Notes & Queries, Melville Society Extracts, and Comitatus. He is currently working on a book manuscript on the creation and subsequent uses of Alfred the Great's law code.
