What a pleasure it has been working with Lycoming College Students again this year in partnership with SMART/Covenant After School Program. I can't say enough about the volunteers' willingness to learn about the children and apply it to their mentoring sessions. Their calm, kind, giving hearts have helped this program continue to grow again this year. On behalf of Covenant Central, thank you for supporting this vital program and look forward to Fall 2008.

On behalf of Lycoming County United Way, our program partners, participating non-profit organizations, and our sponsor, Kellogg's, pleace accept our sincere thanks for your participation in the 17th annual Day of Caring.

This year's Day of Caring included more than 600 volunteers copmleting numerous jobs for 39 non-profit organizations throughout Lycoming County. It could not have been done without the volunteers who generously gave up a Saturday to help out neighbors.

Please extend our thanks to all of your volunteers. The work you all performed for the many locations was most appreciated. IT was wonderful of you to help us help others in this unique fasion.
