"The Past is Present" opening reception in the Digital Media Gallery

An opening reception for “The Past is Present,” a solo exhibition, by Leah Bedrosian Peterson, associate professor of digital media communication, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Lycoming College Digital Media Gallery, located on Franklin Street. This event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be on display Nov. 20-Dec. 6. All other viewings are by appointment.

Lycoming College seniors in the Digital Media Communication program will present an exhibition of their capstone work on Friday, April 11, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Communication Building on the corner of Fourth and Franklin streets. The event is one night only and is free and open to the public.

Digital Media Gallery to present alumna exhibit

Lycoming College will host "Speculation on the Trajectory of Human Kind," a video and photography exhibit by alumna Amanda Le Kline in the Digital Media Gallery from Feb. 26 to March 20. An artist lecture will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. in the Fine Arts Lecture Hall. An artist talk and opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the gallery, which is located in the Communication Building, at the corner of W. Fourth and Franklin streets. Both the lecture and the reception are free and open to the public.

Professor's work receives additional honors

Lycoming College communications professor Leah Bedrosian Peterson’s project Erasure has received additional honors since being published in the spring 2013 edition of the German magazine Heritage of Our World, which is distributed with National Geographic in Germany to more than 100,000 subscribers.
