The general regulations and policies stated in
this catalog are in effect for the 1999-00 academic year. Freshmen beginning
their first terms at Lycoming College in the fall of 1999 or the spring of 2000
are there-after governed by the policies stated in this catalog.
If changes are made in subsequent editions of the catalog to
either general requirements or major requirements, students have the option of
following their original program or a subsequent catalog version, but the
College always reserves the right to determine which requirements apply.
If a student interrupts his or her education but returns to
the College after no more than one academic year has passed, he/she will retain
the same requirements in effect at the initial date of entrance. A student who
withdraws from the College for more than one year will, upon return, be required
to complete the requirements currently imposed upon other students of the same
academic level. A student who transfers to the College with advanced standing
will be subject to the requirements imposed upon other students at the College
who have attained the same academic level. Post-baccalaureate students will be
subject to the requirements stated on page 30.
Lycoming College reserves the right to amend or change the
policies and procedures stated in this catalog without prior notice to those who
may be affected by them. The provisions of this publication are not to be
regarded as an irrevocable contract between the applicant and/or the student and
Lycoming College.
