The general regulations and policies stated in this catalog are in
effect for the 2005-06 academic year. Freshmen beginning their first
terms at Lycoming College in the fall of 2005 or the spring of 2006
are thereafter governed by the policies stated in this catalog.
If changes are made in subsequent editions of the catalog to
either distribution requirements, major, or minor requirements, a
student has the option of following the original program as outlined
in the catalog in effect at the time of matriculation as a freshman
or of following a subsequent catalog version. The College always
reserves the right to determine which requirements apply.
If a student interrupts his or her education but returns to the
College after no more than one academic year has passed, he/she will
retain the same requirements in effect at the initial date of
entrance. A student who withdraws from the College for more than one
year will, upon return, be required to complete the requirements
currently imposed upon other students of the same academic level. A
student who transfers to the College with advanced standing will be
subject to the requirements imposed upon other students at the
College who have attained the same academic level.
Post-baccalaureate students will be subject to the requirements
stated on page 32.
Lycoming College reserves the right to amend or change the
policies and procedures stated in this catalog without prior notice
to those who may be affected by them. The provisions of this
publication are not to be regarded as an irrevocable contract
between the applicant and/or the student and Lycoming College.
