Part-Time Assistant Web Developer

Little League Baseball, Incorporated, the world’s largest youth sports program located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Assistant Web Developer to work up to 19 hours per week in our South Williamsport location. The applicant will work under the guidance of our Web Development Manager and will help maintain our websites and assist in various online projects. Applicants must have a working knowledge of both web and mobile design, and be proficient with HTML, CSS, MS Office, Windows, Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop, and have strong written and oral communication and computer skills. Summer Camp Counselors Needed (Camp Frog)

Camp Frog is a nationally recognized program that places extra supportive and medical services into existing YMCA summer camp programs, allowing children who have seizures to enjoy summer camp just like their peers. First Session is at Camp Conrad Weiser, Wernersville, PA, June 21 - June 27, 2015. Second Session is at Camp Fitch, North Springfield, PA, July 5 - July 11, 2015.

Counselor Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and well being of the campers
  • Tend to campers during and after seizure activity
  • Follow the YMCA camp and Camp Frog schedules
  • Stay with campers at all times
  • Facilitate positive peer interaction opportunities

Special Events Coordinator 

Responsibilities include the creating and planning of various special events and games as they fit within the day camp program. The day camp is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-starter who enjoys working with children & developing an enjoyable atmosphere. Individual is needed to orchestrate activities such as theme weeks, treasure hunts, camp olympics, & other related events. Individual must work in conjunction with other staff members. Responsibilities include: 

Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations of OSHA/MSHA and Penny Supply, Inc. of the MIDA group. Conduct daily safety assignments (work area inspections, pre-shifts, TRACK, JSA's, etc.). Start crushing, screening, conveying and all related equipment. Daily safety check of the plant. Ensure proper size and quality of the product. Maximize production of the product. Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry and asphalt operation. Communicate maintenance needs on a daily basis; turn in maintenance requests daily - fill out work orders for maintenance required.  Keep plant area neat and organized. Check oil levels and grease all equipment on the plant as required.  Complete daily and weekly checklists. Verify all equipment is functioning properly. Maintain crusher settings.

Mental Health Aide 

The Mental Health Aide (MHA) position is a 3rd shift direct-care position. The MHA supervises the children ion care and is responsible for their safety. While much of the time spent, with the children, is during their sleeping hours, the MHA does help with routines and activities for about 3 to 6 hours each shift. The MHA is expected to teach and model appropriate social skills and coping skills to the children. MHA's must provide support for children who may be experiencing symptoms related to their mental health diagnosis. These symptoms may include feelings of anxiety, depression or difficulty with anger management. The MHA is responsible for communicating pertinent information to the child's therapist so that treatment can be properly assessed.
