Scholarships / Fellowships for Undergraduate Study

The Boren Undergraduate Scholarship (Up to $20,000)

Sponsored by the National Security Education Program, its purpose is "to increase knowledge of lesser-known parts of the globe to secure the political and economic position of the US." It is intended for "study of specific subjects and languages in specific regions"--see web site for specifics in a particular year. It may be won more than once. Usually sophomores apply for Junior Year Abroad but first-year students and juniors can apply too for the following academic year.
