Biology is one of the largest departments on the Lycoming College campus, with eight full-time Ph.D. level staff members.  Biology has also been the largest major at Lycoming for several years. We have a program characterized by its vitality, by the enthusiasm and involvement of the dedicated faculty, and by the success of our students and alumni. The breadth of training and expertise of our department faculty allows students to choose among many specialties, or to remain generalists as they move toward their degree in Biology.
