March 1 - April 1 - William Powhida, "Multiples," Lycoming College Art Gallery
March 6 - The Bethany Lutheran College Concert Band and the Lycoming College Concert Band present a joint concert. A highlight will be the world premiere of Celebration Scherzo by Art Michaels, composed in honor of the College’s bicentennial celebration.
March 21 - Following a ten-day tour of southern California, the Lycoming College Tour Choir, under the direction of Fred Thayer, presents its Homecoming Concert. The program includes music by Rosephanye Powell, J.K. Paine, AndrzejKoszewski and Aaron Copland, with pianist, Edward Barton.
March 29 - William Ciabattari directs the Concert Band in music by Percy Grainger, Eric Whitacre, Bernard Heiden and John Williams. Internationally-acclaimed saxophonist Eugene Rousseau will be the soloist in Divisions by Bernard Heiden, and he will be joined by Lycoming’s saxophone instructor, Jason Laczkoski, in Variations on the Carnival of Venice.
March 29 - Harding Series: Speaker Dan Klingerman
March 30 - The Lycoming College Chamber Choir, directed by Fred Thayer, presents excerpts from Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with soprano Emily Wertz and Requiem by John Rutter. Featured performers include Reuben Councill, flute, Linda Fountain, oboe, Andrew Rammon, cello, Donald Fisher, timpani, and Richard Lakey, piano.
