WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s tennis team (2-4) topped PSU-Harrisburg by a score of seven games to two on Tuesday, September 25. The Lady Warriors really caught stride winning four of six singles matches and all three doubles matches.
Lycoming's number one and two Amiee Snyder (Kempton, PA) and Rebecca Reynolds (Williamsport, PA) won their respective singles matches (6-3, 6-1 and 6-3, 6-7, 10-7) and their number one doubles contest. Kirstie McKeever (Blossburg, PA) won at number four singles (6-1, 6-1), while Esther Sandvik (Duluth, MN), in her first action this season, won at number six (6-0, 6-4)
McKeever and Sandvik took number three doubles, while Kelly Drinkard (Seaville, NJ) and Jessica Souchik (Lewis Run, PA) won at number two.
The Lady Warriors next challenge will be on their home court at Bruce Henry Park on Saturday, September 29, when they face Wilkes. The matches will start at noon for Family Weekend.
