ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lycoming College women’s soccer player Bekah Shipe earned All-Commonwealth Conference honors, as announced by the league on Friday, Nov. 14. Shipe was named to the second team for the second-straight year.
A senior from Northumberland, Pa., Shipe finished the year with a team-high nine goals and 22 points. She led the Lady Warriors to their best conference record in the last four years as the team narrowly missed qualifying for its first Commonwealth playoff appearance.
Shipe leaves the program as the all-time record holder in career goals (34) and points (85), and ranks second in career assists (17).
The Lady Warriors finished the season with an overall record of 5-8-4 and a conference mark of 2-3-1.
Messiah’s Amanda Naeher was named the Player of the Year, while Widener’s Brittany Harvis was named the Rookie of the Year. Widener head coach Brian Sheehan earned Coach of the Year accolades.
