WEST HYANNISPORT, Mass. – Lycoming College women’s lacrosse coach Kara Reber has been selected by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association to serve as the head coach of the South team in the upcoming North/South All-Star game. The game will be held on June 14 at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, Pa.
Reber was chosen to coach the South squad after leading the Lady Warriors into the MAC semi-finals this season.
Joining Reber at the All-Star game will be two of the most decorated women’s lacrosse players in Lycoming history, Megan Wallenhorst and Kristina Peacock.
Wallenhorst, a third team All-American at attack this season, graduated as Lycoming’s all-time career scoring leader with 233 career goals and 276 points. She led the team this season in goals (56), points (75) and shots on goal (77), marking her fourth consecutive season as the Lady Warriors leading scorer.
Peacock, the team’s co-MVP, graduated with the all-time career record for saves with 693, including a career-best 209 stops this season.
The All-Star contest will mark the final collegiate game for both Peacock and Wallenhorst.
