WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s basketball team defeated cross-town opponent Penn College by a score of 92-51 on Tuesday in Lamade Gymnasium.
Sophomore forward Jessica Nabholz (Cressona, Pa.) scored all 17 of her team-high points in the first half, as the Lady Warriors shot 55.8% and went into the break with a 57-26 lead. Allison Mock (State College, Pa.) recorded all of her 12 points in the first period also, while Becky Leid (Denver, Pa.) notched 10 of her 12 points before halftime.
Junior Andrea Cooper (Hollidaysbourg, Pa.) and sophomore Samantha Ruby (Thomasville, Pa.) also reached digits for the game with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
For Penn College, Meagan Morris compiled 19 points, while Amanda Ault grabbed a game-high eight rebounds on her way to 11 points.
Lycoming hosts conference foe Elizabethtown on Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. in Lamade Gymnasium. The game will be followed by a men’s game, also against E-town.
