WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s sophomore forward Jessica Nabholz (Cressona, Pa.) earned honorable mention Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week honors for her performance against Penn College on Jan. 15.
Nabholz was exceptional in the Lady Warriors’ 92-51 win over their cross-town rival. Nabholz led Lycoming with 17 points and seven rebounds for the game, all in the first half. She shot 8-of-11 from the field, as well as hitting her sole foul shot.
Nabholz leads the blue and gold with 68 rebounds for the year, averaging 4.9 per game. She also averages 6.8 points per contest.
Nabholz and the Lady Warriors are 5-2 in their last seven games, bringing their season record to 9-5. They will face their first Commonwealth Conference opponent on Tuesday, Jan. 22 when they play host to the Elizabethtown Lady Blue Jays at 6 p.m.
