DALLAS, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s basketball team defeated Misericordia University by a score of 82-76 on Tuesday, November 20 to push their record to 3-0 on the season. Previously, the Lady Warriors had swept the St. John Fisher Tournament over the weekend.
At Misericordia, Lycoming’s Jessica Zerbee (Duncansville, PA) recorded a team-high 23 points, while dishing six assists. Junior Andrea Cooper (Hollidaysburg, PA) scored 22, with three assists and six rebounds. Cooper shared the team lead in boards with sophomore Jessica Nabholz (Cressona, PA), who also grabbed six.
Nabholz also scored 13 points on the evening. Freshman Kaitlyn Ober (Lititz, PA) was the only other Lady Warrior in double digits with 10 points. Ober and Nabholz also had a block each working in the paint.
Misericordia’s Lacey DeGraw scored 26 points with nine rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to quell Lycoming’s momentum. The Lady Warriors travel next to York College on Monday, November 26 for a 7:00 p.m. game. Lycoming returns home on November 29 to face PSU-Hazleton at 7:00 p.m.
