WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s basketball team (10-8, 1-3) fell to conference foe Albright (15-3, 4-0) on Saturday by a score of 64-51 in Lamade Gymnasium.
Sophomore guard Allison Mock (State College, Pa.) led the Lady Warriors with 13 points, including a team-high three three-pointers. Mock hit two from beyond the arc in the first half, but Lycoming still trailed 31-20 going into the break.
Sophomore forward Becky Leid (Denver, Pa.) scored 10 points, while grabbing three rebounds for the game. Sophomores Jessica Zerbee (Duncansville, Pa.), Samantha Ruby (Thomasville, Pa.) and Jessica Nabholz (Cressona, Pa.) recorded seven points apiece, with Zerbee securing a team-high five rebounds during the contest.
Annie McMahon notched 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Lady Lions in both categories.
Lycoming travels to Lebanon Valley on Tuesday, Feb. 5 for another Commonwealth Conference match-up. The Lady Warriors then return to Lamade for a Feb. 9 contest against fellow conference-mate Widener. The Widener game will be “Think Pink” Day, promoting breast cancer awareness.
