GRANTHAM, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s volleyball team (5-28) finished its season at the Messiah Tournament this weekend (October 26-27). Although Messiah College is a Commonwealth Conference opponent, the Lady Warriors did not face the Lady Falcons.

Instead, Lycoming took on SUNY-Cortland and Goucher on Friday evening, falling to both by the score of three games to zero (22-30, 14-30, 26-30 and 23-30, 24-30, 20-30 respectively).

On Saturday, the Lady Warriors were matched against regional rival Susquehanna in the morning. Lycoming lost to the Lady Crusaders 16-30, 14-30 and 17-30. Later in the day, Lycoming fell to Moravian 12-30, 24-30 and 24-30. The Lady Warriors showed determination by not giving up after the lopsided opening game.
