WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s women’s volleyball team dropped three games (17-30, 21-30, 20-30) to conference opponent Elizabethtown on Wednesday night, October 24 at Lamade Gymnasium. The Lady Warriors are now mathematically eliminated from the postseason, while the Lady Blue Jays remain undefeated in the Commonwealth Conference.
Lycoming head coach Tim McMahon stuck with his starters throughout most of the match. Junior Heather Frantz (Pine Grove, PA), who has had a good season for Lycoming, finished the night with six kills and seven digs. Lady Warrior setter Abby Myer (Shippensburg, PA) has also been solid on the year and compiled 21 assists against Elizabethtown.

Lycoming junior Michelle Burpoe (Marlboro, NY) returned to the lineup and made six kills for the evening, while sophomore defensive specialist Alyssa Taylor (Camp Hill, PA), bedazzling in football eye black, recorded 20 digs.
The Lady Warriors conclude their season this weekend at the Messiah Tournament, where they will face SUNY-Cortland to open the tourney at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night.
