WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming’s men’s and women’s swim teams overpowered Elizabethtown on Saturday, November 10. The women won 123-80, while the men triumphed 116-75. The conference victories were the first for both teams in this young season.
Lady Warrior junior Milvana Ban (Harrisburg, PA) placed first in the 200-yard freestyle, 400-yard individual medley and 200-yard backstroke, leading Lycoming in individual success. Sophomore Caroline LeHota (Bellefonte, PA) swam on both first place relay teams for the blue and gold (200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay).
On the men’s side, freshman Warrior sprinter Ryan Adamson (Warrington, PA) swam on both first place relays, and took the top spot in the men’s 50-yard freestyle. Fellow frosh Joe Kuder (Moorestown, NJ) took first in the 1000 free, and second in both the 500 free and the 400-yard individual medley.
The Lady Warriors and Warriors take to the pool again on Tuesday, November 13 for a home meet with Susquehanna University. The action starts at 7:00 p.m. in the pool at Lamade Gymnasium in Williamsport.
