SELINSGROVE, Pa.—Lycoming’s men’s lacrosse team (4-3) rolled over Susquehanna (2-3) by a score of 15-2 at Sassafras Field on Wednesday. It was the fourth win in a row for the Warriors.
Lycoming was led by freshman Ricky DeNenno’s (Landenburg, Pa.) seven goals and sophomore Ed Williams’ (Florham Park, N.J.) six assists. DeNenno added an assist, while Williams had a goal.
DeNenno and Shea Conway (Glenelg, Md.) scored the Warriors’ first two goals before Susquehanna found the net at 11:31 in the first period. DeNenno then proceeded to score three-straight times, followed by six more Lycoming goals to put the game to bed by 8:10 in the third.
Jim Cusick (Garnet Valley, Pa.) scored in the last three minutes of the third period and Dan Cannon (Orangeville, Ont.) found the net early in the fourth, followed by two more DeNenno goals to finish the game.
Neither team scored in the game’s final seven minutes. Lycoming goalie Kyle Gilfoy (Exton, Pa.) took the win with 13 saves for the game.
The Warriors host Stockton on Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at Shangraw Athletic Complex.
