WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming College junior forward Greg Sye (Chantilly, VA) was named honorable mention Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week for his 27-point performance against the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford last week.
Sye notched his season-high point total while grabbing eight rebounds, seven of which came at the defensive end. He converted 12 of his 14 shots from the field and sank 3 of 4 foul shots in Lycoming’s 60-49 loss. Sye was the only Warrior to score in double digits for the game. He has led the team in rebounding in 8 of 10 games this season.
Lycoming starts the new year at the Scranton Tournament on Jan. 5-6. The Warriors next home game is versus Penn State-Hazleton on Thursday, Jan. 17 at Lamade Gymnasium.
