MIDDLETOWN, Pa.—Lycoming’s men’s basketball team (4-1) won its fourth straight game by a landslide, defeating Penn State-Harrisburg (1-3) by a score of 101-56 on Wednesday, November 26. The Warriors shot over
76-percent in the first half to win going away.
Senior swingman Kevin Morris (Camp Hill, PA) shot the lights out from three-point range, hitting eight of ten bombs from downtown. Adding two free throws, Morris led all players with 26 points on the night.
The next closest scorer was point guard Eric Anthony (Wheeling, WV) who dropped in 17 points in just over 28 minutes of playing time. Fellow guards Jemayne Nowlin (Gaithersburg, MD) and David Wilson (Pottsville, PA) scored 14 and 12 points respectively.
Head coach Don Friday played everyone on his roster during the blowout, but only so much can be done when Morris is raining threes off the bench. Starting forward Greg Sye (Chantilly, VA) grabbed a team-high five rebounds, while notching 11 points on the night.
Lycoming’s next contest is on Saturday at Shenandoah at 2:00 p.m. The Warriors then return home on Tuesday, December 4 to face Elmira at Lamade Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.
