RADNOR, Pa. (January 9) – Lycoming’s men’s basketball team (8-5) defeated Cabrini (5-7) on Wednesday by a score of 85-71. The win was the Warriors third in a row, all in the new year.
Lycoming junior forward Greg Sye (Chantilly, Va.) and senior guard Kevin Morris (Camp Hill, Pa.) each recorded 20 points to lead the team. Sye also grabbed 10 rebounds to notch his second double double of the season. Sophomore point guard Eric Anthony (Wheeling, W.V.) added 16 points and seven boards.
Cabrini shot just 30.9% (5-24) from the field for the game and hit just one of its first 15 shots. Lycoming scored the final four points before halftime to lead 38-27 at the break.
The Warriors travel next to Carnegie Mellon on Sunday, Jan. 13 for a 1 p.m. tip-off. On Thursday, Jan. 17, Lycoming hosts Penn State Hazleton at Lamade Gymnasium.
