WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Lycoming College men’s basketball annual golf outing that was originally scheduled for early May has been moved to Friday, June 20 after being rained out. The annual fundraiser will be held at the White Deer Golf Complex in Montgomery, Pa.
Don Friday will host the event again this summer.
“I still plan to run this event the same as we have in the past,” said Friday. “This is a great event and a fun way to support the Lycoming men’s basketball family.”
Supporters wishing to play in the outing that may have missed the original registration for the May date can still register to play.
The cost per player is $90 and includes cart and green fees, one mulligan, automatic entry into “the pot of gold” and a post-tournament pig roast and barbeque.
A silent auction will also be run throughout the day for a new Precor elliptical training machine valued at $5,000.
The four-man scramble will shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on the Challenge course at the White Deer Golf Complex.
Those wishing to register should contact Esther Henninger in the Lycoming athletics office at 570-321-4110.
