ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Lycoming’s men’s golf team finished 15th in their third match of the 2008 season at the Elizabethtown College Spring Blue Jay Classic on Thursday. Susquehanna, Franklin & Marshall and one of Elizabethtown’s two teams finished first, second and third, respectively.

Freshman Rob Wentzel (Halifax, Pa.) finished tops for the Warriors with 88 strokes, 18 behind the pace of first place finisher Pat Serfass of Susquehanna. Lycoming junior Jeff DeFrank (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) finished at 93 strokes, while John Spring followed shortly after with a 96. Senior Brett Kelly (Renova, Pa.) finished with 97 strokes.

Lycoming golf has a 1 p.m. tee time at the Susquehanna Invitational on Thursday, April 17.
