Last Time Out
Turnovers and penalties proved costly for the Warriors last Saturday, Oct. 18, in a 27-13 setback at Wilkes. It was the first MAC loss of the season.
For the sixth time this year, Lycoming outgained its opponent (346-294), but the Warriors lost five turnovers, including four interceptions and one fumble in the end zone, and were penalized seven times for 85 yards.

Shellenberger caught eight passes for 164 yards in the game.
The turning point in the game occured at the start of the second half when it looked as if Lycoming, tailing 17-13, would score a go-ahead touchdown on its opening drive. With a first-and-goal from the three-yard line, Josh Kleinfelter lept over the line and into the end zone. The officials ruled that the ball came out before he crossed the goal line and that Wilkes had come away with the fumble.
Kleinfelter caught five passes for 60 yards and also added 47 rushing yards.
The defense was led by Pat McAfee with eight total tackles. Chris Smith and Chuck Bellitto each had seven stops. T.J. Doyle recorded his first interception of the season and Chris Tribanas and Matt Licci each were credited with a sack.
Scott Erikson connected on two field goals in the game.
