Josh KleinfelterWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College football team reported to camp on Wednesday and will practice for the first time on Thursday. The team’s media day is scheduled for Friday morning at David Person Field.

First-year head coach Mike Clark spent the day Wednesday checking players into camp and preparing for the first team meeting in the evening.

“It’s exciting,” said Clark. “We’ve been waiting for this all year and we’re ready to get to work now.”

The Warriors’ media day is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday when the players will have their head shots, group photos and official team picture taken. Local media members are invited to attend the event to speak with players and coaches about the upcoming season.

Lycoming was selected fifth in the Middle Atlantic Conference preseason poll that was released at the MAC Media Day last week. The Warriors will open the season on Sept. 6 at Ithaca before returning home to host Susquehanna on Sept. 20.
