LANCASTER, Pa. – The Lycoming College cross country teams competed in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at Lancaster County Central Park on Saturday, Nov. 1. The men’s team finished 10th and the women’s team placed14th.

Robert Holmes (Oxford, Mass.) led the men’s team with a 70th-place finish, posting a time of 31:48.71 over the 8,000-meter course.

Tim Aulett (Warminster, Pa.) placed 73rd in 31:58.14, followed by Steven Brown (Lock Haven, Pa.) in 88th-place (33:25.52).

Scott Boyles (Williamsport, Pa.) crossed the line in 90th at 33:41.90 with Tim Miller (Lansdowne, Pa.) rounding out the scorers in 111th at 37:06.99.

Kari Smith (Corning, N.Y.) was the first Lady Warrior across the line, finishing in 65th-place with a time of 28:41.29 on the 6,000-meter course.

Alex Rinaldi (Sellersville, Pa.) placed 100th (32:46.03) with Holly Andrews (Plymouth Township, Pa.) crossing the line in 104th (33:22.90).

Gillian Robbins (Mt. Holly, N.J.) was the fourth scorer, placing 112th (35:25.89). Chelsea Holbert (Lackawaxen, Pa.) rounded out the team’s finishers with a 115th-place finish (39:03.60).

The MAC meet was the final competition of the 2008 season for Lycoming.
