Reason for digging the excavation: I joined because I needed the credits and because it sounded like we would have a fun time.
Highlight of your field school: I think the highlight of my field school would have to be finding a button and a long nail, possibly from the railroad. I thought these were among some most interesting items found, and it makes me want to find out where they came from.
Assessment of your experience: I enjoyed the experience. I learned a lot about Archaeology, since I really had no previous knowledge. I also liked that all of the students worked well together and generally had a good time (even during arguments).
