Located at the corner of Mulberry Street and Washington Boulevard, this new residence hall opened in fall of 2007. This apartment-style-living building has 22 units and currently houses 85 residents*.
The building is fully air-conditioned and has a beautifully landscaped commons area on the southwest side. Each unit has 1 full bath with a second vanity/sink area outside of the bathroom, a kitchenette area (stove top, sink, full size refrigerator.) The units are fully carpeted, except for the kitchen and bath areas and have basic furnishings - sofa/loveseat, chairs, side tables, bistro table and chairs in the living/kitchen area. In each bedroom there is a bed, dresser, desk and chair for each resident. There is ample storage space in both kitchen and bedrooms for each resident. The Commons units have cable television hook-up in both living and bed rooms, wireless computer access and voice-over IP phone availability.
The second level of the building has a game room, programming space and laundry facilities. There is elevator access to the second level and two handicap accessible units on the first level.
*Students are eligible to apply to live in a Commons unit if they are (a) resident students (b) rising senior (76 credits or higher) with a 2.25 GPA or above and (c) are in good judicial standing with the College as determined by the Residential Life Office.
