The Long Hall Clock Tower is visible from anywhere on the Quad. Don't set your watch by it. Each of its three sides bears a slightly different time. In 1969, students painted a Mickey Mouse face on one side of the clock, a work of art that wasn't discovered for a whole day. Here on the steps of Long Hall is where you're apt to meet President James E. Douthat (rhymes with SOUTH-it). If he's met you before, he'll greet you by name.
