Built in 1962, this residence hall houses 145 first-year students in a co-educational (by wing or floor) environment. All rooms are double occupancy* and are equipped with two desks, desk chairs, dressers, beds, and closets. All furniture (except the bed and desk chair) is built into the walls. There are two community bathrooms on each floor and a small study lounge. A kitchenette and laundry area is located on the lower level.

Asbury is named for Bishop Francis Asbury, the father of the United Methodist Church in America. He was a preacher serving the Susquehanna region in 1812, the year Lycoming College was founded.

*Occasionally, depending on enrollment, several larger corner rooms have been used as transitional housing (temporarily housing three students). If this occurs the room is equipped with a third bed (in the form of a loft) and an additional desk, chair, and dresser. The two closets are shared between the three students.
