Dear Members and Parents of the Class of 2010,
Welcome to Lycoming College! In my role as Assistant Dean for Freshmen, it is my pleasure to assist each of you as you prepare to begin classes in the fall. To help with that transition, we have designed this webpage to address your questions and to collect the additional information we need from you. Please take the time to carefully browse through this site; we want you to understand all that Lycoming College offers throughout the year to support our newest students. If you still have questions, however, feel free to contact me at
orientation@lycoming.edu.
To guarantee the best start possible for all of our students, we feel it is necessary to require that all of our new students attend an Orientation session and we strongly encourage at least one parent to accompany each student. Our new students will meet their academic advisors, complete the placement process, select classes for the fall semester, and learn
about our campus life at Lycoming. Parents will have the opportunity to learn more about Lycoming’s curriculum, career development support, and health and counseling services. Representatives from the Business and Financial Aid offices will also be available to address your concerns.
Please note that each of our new students must attend the
January 7 Orientation. Also, students must complete the foreign language placement test as well as the registration, advising, housing, and health forms as soon as
possible.
I look forward to meeting each of you to extend my warmest welcome as well as my promise to do all that I can to help each of our new students as they join the Lycoming family!

Sincerely,
Regina
