1st WEEKEND begins with new student check-in on Friday, August 24, 2007 and continues through Sunday evening, August 26, 2007. This weekend is a required event for all new first-time freshmen. Residents are asked to report between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; following check-in, residential students will be permitted to move into the residence halls. Commuter students are asked to report between Noon and 1:00 p.m. the same day.

The remainder of the weekend will include campus activities designed to introduce Lycoming’s newest students to the faculty, staff, student support services, and each other. By the end of the weekend, each student will have explored the Snowden Library, met the student life staff, received an orientation to classroom expectations, begun career counseling, and socialized at several on and off-campus events
