Larry Mannolini, Director

Larry is responsible for the advisement of the Campus Activities Board, student leadership development programs, overseeing the operations of the Wertz Student Center and providing contract review for all clubs and organizations. Larry also helps to provide program planning assistance, advice, and training to student organizations and their advisors. He also assists with the implementation of the Fall Carnival, Involvement Fair, Homecoming, Family Weekend, Summer Orientation, 1st Weekend, Senior Picnic, Senior Celebration and many other campus events including the major campus concerts. Larry was awarded the Student Organization Advisor of the Year Award in both 2007 and 2009. Also in 2009, Larry was the recipient of the College's Makisu Award,
which the student body presents to a faculty or staff member for extraordinary service and dedication. Larry also serves as a College representative to the Williamsport Chamber of Commerce's College Town Committee. He served as the 2007 and 2008 NACA Mid Atlantic Regional Conference Committee Coordinator. He is serving once again as the Conference Logistics Coordinator for this same conference for 2009 and will be in this same psotion for the 2010 conference as well. Larry was recognized for his work in the student activities field by receiving, in 2009, a NACA Outstanding Service Award for service to the Mid-Atlantic Region. Larry also received NACA’s 2001 Outstanding New Campus Activities Professional award for the Mid-Atlantic Region. The National Association for Campus Activities Mid-Atlantic Region is comprised of member schools in
Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and eastern Ontario. In the local community Larry is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Williamsport.
Candida “Candy” Rivera, Assistant Director Candy is responsible for coordinating Fraternity and Sorority Life activities and housing for the five sororities and four fraternities on campus; advising the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils as well as Order of Omega and Gamma Sigma Alpha. Candy also chairs the Black History Month committee and assists with leadership development training seminars, workshops and retreats for student leaders and faculty advisors. She assists the Director in the development and implementation of major college events including but not limited to Homecoming, Family Weekend, Involvement Fair, Fall Carnival, Spring Concert, Commencement and Alcohol and Wellness Programming.
Donna Weaver, Administrative Assistant
Donna is responsible for maintaining a master calendar and schedule of all events/meetings/activities of the College including the processing of all room reservations. Donna assists in supervising our student employees, process all revenues and expenditures for the department and plays a key role in providing guidance and assistance in all the functions of the department.
The Office of Student Programs and Leadership Development also employs a number of Student Managers who assist with various office functions and also assist in managing the operations of the Wertz Student Center. The Department also hires and supervises the Student Projectionists for the CAB Film Series.
